After reading 20 reviews of
Indiana Jones from Cannes, I have come to one realization...People dont know how to pretend they are young anymore. Why is it so hard? I read one reviewer who was like "I grew up with the original 3 so I was unsure of whether I liked the new one..." Why are reviewers comparing it to when they were younger? You are not young anymore and either is Indiana. I havent seen the movie yet but can tell you that the movie has Harrison Ford back as everyones favorite adventurer/treasure hunter/person with a fear of snakes and no one should complain. I know that the original 3 are classic movies that are still amazing to this day but there is no reason why any fan would not want the character that they grew up with back for another adventure. The Indiana character himself is great and even the first news of this sequel had me excited. I think positive first, then get into an open mind state like when I was 9 and then watch the movie. If you allow yourself to go back and pretend this is the first Indy adventure, you are sure to enjoy it. There is no reason to think negative, they didnt change Indiana Jones from Harrison Ford to Hayden Christensen. Real adventure films are rare these days so take Indiana 4 in with an open mind and allow movies like these to get made.
