Matthew Fox has not escaped the TV-to-movie obvious transition because Speed Racer is the first big profile bomb of the summer.

Matthew Fox (to himself in a room with a gun to his head): "Deep down I really want to be a movie star. 'Party of 5' left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. And people still say I look like Neve Campbell."


Matthew Fox's dickhead agent: "Matt! We got a great script! It's got the Wachowskis, the guys who did the Matrix! They're going to make "Speed Racer" into a movie!"

Matthew Fox: "Sign me up! I'll whore out for a big summer blockbuster! And it's gonna make alot of money right?"


...1 1/2 yrs later, Friday May 9, 11:45PM

Matthew Fox's dickhead agent: "We only made 5 million dollars opening night, Matt. Iron Man is still doing business and 'What Happens in Vegas has topped us tonight."

Matthew Fox (slowly reloads his gun): "You said this movie would make me a star!"

Matthew Fox's dickhead agent: "No, I said it would get you a new car! Well, at least you still got 'Lost'!"

Matthew Fox (puts gun to his head): "I've got to think about my career now, please leave me alone."
